What does a residential interior designer do?
An interior designer plans how a home works and feels: its layout, storage, materials, lighting, furniture and details. At Blucap, design is connected to execution so the spaces can be realised coherently.
Does Blucap undertake complete turnkey residential interiors?
Yes. Blucap offers residential interior design and turnkey execution. We agree the scope, responsibilities and project requirements with you before work begins.
Do you design apartments as well as villas?
Yes. We work on apartments, luxury apartments, villas, penthouses and independent homes. The approach responds to the people and the space rather than a standard package.
Can Blucap work with an existing architect?
We can discuss coordinating the interior scope with your architect. Sharing architectural plans and the current project stage helps us establish how the teams should work together.
At what stage should we involve an interior designer?
Ideally, while plans and services can still be coordinated. You can also approach us for a home nearing handover or an existing home; we will assess what is practical at that stage.
How long does a residential interior project take?
Timing depends on the size and condition of the home, design scope, approvals, material availability and execution requirements. We discuss a project-specific programme once these are understood.
Can you renovate an existing home?
Yes. We consider renovations and home transformations, starting with the existing condition, what you want to retain and how the home needs to change.
